Was up past weekend. Around the Harbour its good in the regular safe areas.
Took the portages, up and across Buck Lake to Mcrae Lake. All good.

They definitely needed the snow up that way for lube and cooling. Very crispy Saturday.

We were also up to Bone Island on the weekend. Some holes in the usual spots but generally good. Plenty of sleds out. Augured a test hole about 100 m off the cottage shoreline and found 5 inches of white ice on 8 inches of black. Conditions will vary. Could use more snow in the bush.

I am interested as well in the conditions in that area....thanks for the previous replies.  Does anyone know if the staked line is in from Penetang or Midland to the south tip of Beausoleil?

I will ask some locals and try to post before weekend if trees there are in.
