From Wasaga to Thornbury
« on: April 09, 2018, 12:29:49 am »
I'm new to the idea of fishing from shore or river fishing. I've spent my life on Simcoe either in a boat or or on the ice. I'm new to the collingwood/wasaga area and I've been looking into getting into shore fishing and going into the river systems but have little to no knowledge about what to bring or even spots to fish from. For shore fishing, the collingwood harbour and remembering looking at people fishing off shore from beachwood road when I was a kid. I have no idea what else is available. I've fished some spots in the notty as a kid but I want to explore more of the mad and beaver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, will be stopping by GT outdoors or Ricks happi hooka for basically everything but the rod... but then again I'm not even to sure what rod to use for either type hah
Looking to get into whities/trout/salmon
