Yea..  Still have afew left this season but stock is getting  low. Not ordering new blanks till next year as season is almost over for the most part.  Yes, was using mine on Wednesday, which made the day just that much better!  Had a moonshine on aswell for abit that was working well until the big fish of the day made my swivel let go.  Tried a nk flasher spoon for a bit at the end of tge day but no luck on it.

Green was on fire for me yesterday.  Fished till 1pm and had the best day I've had in august on the bay in years.  Ended 17/26...  6 Lakers, rest salmon.   Even had 5 double headers.  Magnum spoons, green was what I started with and I never bothered changing.  I found if I started marking schools of Lakers I turned around and got away from them and got back into the silvers!

Nice Day Meegs! You still selling your spoons? Keep meaning to buy some off of you. Were you getting them on your spoons as well? I am sure you will sell out fast the minute you mention it :)

Perseverance! Try the Tiny township side?
Salmon gods have not been kind to me either. Taking advice from some of the knowledgeable posters on this forum has got me hooking up again!

Wow that's an awesome day I've been running between 70 to 150 ft of water and the buggers just keep smashing the lures but not hitting them right

Second trip out, one for one. My first of this year, a 14 lb chinook hen from the hole this afternoon.  Lyman ladderback 90 ft down over 95 FOW. 2 Ĺ lb of eggs, and what could have happened to all that potential?
Does anyone know if these pacific origin salmon successfully spawn? Arenít they stocked from Michigan?
Did not mark any bait, saw a few hooks on the bottom around the edges. Only one or two other boats fishing.

No stocking on our side of the bay at all. These are all naturalized fish from spawning.  I start vacation for a week or so tomorrow. I will be out there at least a few times.

Big tour of the bay today, left cedar point area and rode half way to Owen Sound before I decided to drop lines.  The plan was to find rainbows. With the amount of hours I put in I only catch one bow per week. So I'm determined to find out where they are all summer. Deepest I went was 310fow and putted North. Ended up getting into a few bows on the cheater down 60.  I did mark some quality hooks between 60-70 but they wouldn't move, marked a few deeper fish too.
After that I ran to the Hump, again marked good hooks but no takers. Ended up at the top end and found a few nice salmon to play with, they only turned on at the witching hour. Cleaned the fish and did a night run back to the dock.
Planning a morning or evening run back to the depths of Gbay, maybe the fish will be more active. Although I'm happy to have caught a few elusive rainbows. Slam this weekend, pray for calm seas.
