Pike/Musky in Woods Bay
« on: September 14, 2017, 04:26:10 pm »
Heading up next week to fish for pike/musky. Usually fish anywhere between Woods Bay and Clear Bay. How has the fishing been? Are they in the shallower water yet?

Fishing has been great ! Black bucktails are the answer regardless of the question.

My daughter caught this beauty on Wednesday night. The picture quality is bad, my phone was covered in musky juices. Good luck out there !!

Is planning an early December trip (Dec 2 - 3) a good idea (apart from the cold)? Are muskie and pike still catchable then, and will water temps likely be above 40?
