ice conditions near the tomb

anyone been out near the tomb this year ?havnt fished the bay yet this winter . any ice report would be welcome   thanks dan

These pictures are from last week. First one from Christian Island and the second from Cedar point. Was never over by the tomb but practically no ice around this area...would imagine the tomb is the same.

I have heard rumors of guys running to the the NE side of the tomb, i know guys have been fishing for lakers off Sawlog.  Safety in numbers if you decide to venture that way.
