I had a $30 jerk bait until a pike stoled it while fishing for bass. Gord Pyzer said at the fishing show that he uses leaders all the time now. Has anyone tried it for bass?

I caught a lot of bass fishing for pike in the spring with big swimbaits using very thin titanium leaders. I don't think I would use one in a tournament or if the fishing was tough.
