Title: new to Fishing Meaford
Post by: GGG on October 26, 2020, 10:59:13 pm
I am new to downrigging and fishing Georgian Bay. I fish from Meaford Harbour. Any tips would be helpful.
A couple of questions:
What test line for Rainbows?
How deep this time of the year, I've been told near the surface and 40'+?
Thanks for any advice.

First time member here too...long time fishing tho  :)  You will find lots steelhead anywhere from 20 to 100 fow, this time of year.   I use 20 lb braid with 15 fluoro leader.  20 or 30 lb braid is good.

Good Luck...let us know how it goes.
