Parry Sound

Hi folks,

I've experienced the parry Sound lake trout fishery in the summer, and am dying to give it a go through the ice.

Can anyone comment on ice conditions on big Sound?  Can I expect to get on the ice in town and have run of the area?  Are there any areas that I should avoid, or regular cracks I should be aware of.

I'm not asking for anyone's hot spots.  It's a pretty far drive for me, I'm just trying to the most out of the trip.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the whole Sound but there is a lot of machines running around near town. Just stay away from the narrows and stay on the paths. The sound can get cracked up in a hurry with these high winds and there can be very deep slush
