Hi All,
I had this on the Simcoe board, but should have put it here...
Hi All,
I just finished a few hour session fishing the rivermouth in Thornbury (Monday night). It was cold and rainy so me and my unprepared wardrobe went home early.
There were about a dozen people fishing and I didn't see any action. Nothing landed. I'll be back to give it another try soon.
To all the salmon shore fishermen I ask your advice. I've never caught a salmon and am wondering what works best for you. The guys out tonight were about 50/50 between casting spoons, rappalas, and the like, and those floating bobbers or sitting with bait on the bottom. Am I safe to assume that all of these tactics work equally? What has been your experience?
As always, thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Cheers,
