Sorry john, I was only talking about midland and penetang bay. My experience there has been poor. Out toward Victoria harbour and waub and honey harbour, great success with pike and bass. But in midland and penetang no size or numbers for me. From shore or on a boat. Winter or summer. Just those areas. The rest as you said is a great fishery, especially soft water.
