I hope this is OK to post. On the weekend I stripped a gear in a Walker downrigger when I did not notice that the auto stop did not work while I was fighting a fish. I noticed when I heard the motor start to grind. I called Shortwave and he said he has parts and does repairs. So I went in yesterday. Bill had all the parts I needed, and spent some time showing me how to replace the gear, what to do to fix the auto stop magnets. I ended up buying a few spares for the future and a few lures as well. Always great help from him. Great guy and decent salmon/trout lure selection. Located in Port Credit on Lakeshore.
