Georgian Bay Pike and Walleye Opener
« on: May 07, 2011, 11:49:49 am »
It would be an understatement to say the season is running a little late. Apparently nobody told the walleye because they were out in full force in Pointe au Baril and from what I hear the Moon River as well.

We had 2 of 3 good days (and one day of snow)

Thanks Thirstystone
We had some good days and the average size was very good. We got a 30 incher as well. But it was cold.

Hey guys.

Nice looking Walleye John!
Didn't get there last week...but love to try it.

Mark -- love to get some more of your larger swimbaits at some point...anybody carry them around here?  The stuff at Trombleys and Rack n Reel is just mostly your drop shot stuff...?

Big fan of one colour in particular  ;)

Looking forward to the site.

Kevin

Kevin
We will have to do a day trip to the Sound. I'll bring some Swammers with me.

Hi Kevin -I think the 5.8's are going to rock, we used them on Sat for pike and they were a big hit! -we are just waiting for the clamshells to come for the packaging, which color is the one you like?

is there somewhere to find these swim baits. I am still holding on tight to the one John gave me in the winter.

Hi RR -glad you like them!I cant wait to use them again-we areabout 3-4 weeks away from getting our clamshell which have to be custom made specifically for our baits -3 sizes 31/4 , 4 & 5.8    , but I can get some to John so you can at least use some for now-just trying to stock-pile as the demand is building , theve been catching big largies in the US for abot a month now.
